Here are some web sites that we have done. As we have developed our capabilities, we are taking on progressively more interesting and difficult assignments. Some steps along our path:
NRGPros in Santa Rosa, CA, provide California Title 24 energy compliance reports. The business needed to be able to accept complicated information through their web site along with credit card payment. The business also wants to do much of the site maintenance themselves, and our activated management approach provides exactly this.
Presbytery of Boston is a United Presbyterian Presbytery located in the Boston area. They provide an organization for the churches of the Boston area to work together for their common goals as part of the hierarchy of the United Presbyterian Church in the USA. They had an existing web site, but depended on their webmaster for any and all changes to the web site. They wanted to be able to make changes to the web site without needing to involve the webmaster. They also wanted to be able to provide new capabilities to reduce their costs and increase their communications. Now, their bi-monthly meeting notices and packet of documents are available on the web site, and are made available through a site-generated email to registered users. They can control access to any document on the web site, limiting access to Presbytery members, or to a specified committee of Presbytery. Our use of a Content Management System made this possible.
Christopher's Haven is a nonprofit located in Massachusetts. They provide housing for children who are undergoing cancer treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital. We took a design provided by the original site designer and have updated and changed it as needed to support the organization. The site includes activated content for accepting donations and registering for events.
First United Methodist Church of Santa Rosa, CA, has a web site where the graphic design was provided by a designer. We did all of the implementation and ongoing maintenance. The site includes activated content so that the people in the church who are responsible for content can manage that content without needing webmaster assistance. We also include photo albums that are maintained by the photographers. We used this for a mission trip so that the participants can communicate back home while the trip was in progress. We also use active content for news and events, so that as events occur, they are automatically removed from the front and news pages. This makes it easier for the team to keep the content accurate and relevant. We support a forum so that registered users can share thoughts and information.
Presbyerian Church in Sudbury, MA, has a web site that has evolved over the last 10 years from a text-based site to one with more modern design. It's time for a refresh which is in progress. Site contents are regularly uipdated to include information on upcoming sermons and events, and the text of past sermons.
